Marco Marquina brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to his Real Estate career. Before becoming a Real Estate Broker, Marco made a name for himself in the mortgage lending industry for more than 9 years and contributed to the success of several of the local financial institutions. As head of the underwriting department in a branch for Stearns Lending, he gained first-hand knowledge of all facets of the lending industry dealing with a vast array of major national banks. Additionally, Marco worked in the Secondary Department for Nova Star dealing with bulk acquisitions that eventually were sent to Wall Street firms. Additionally, Marco passed his National and State mortgage tests, on his first attempt, since he continues to offer mortgage lending services to his clients. Marco believes that his Spanish bilingual skills can make a difference reaching the gap of homeownership for the largest minority race. Marco is part of AMPI (the equivalent to NAR in Mexico) since he has worked and gained internationally real estate experience with clients in such country. He posses a Business Administration Degree and was placed on the Dean’s list couple of occasions. Dedicated to serving his community as well as his clientele, Marco is actively involved with the Newport Beach Jaycees. Marco also donates time and money in various projects such collecting toys for poor children.
